Bluffton Football's Head Coach


Bluffton football is ready to start a brand new year under Tyson Veidt, head football coach of the beavers. Coach Veidt will be in his third year as head coach for the Bluffton Beavers, where they are looking to have a breakout season. Coach Veidt began his career under former West Virginia, now head coach of the Michigan Wolverines Rich Rodriquez he was an assistant coach there.

Coach Veidt also served a year at Saint Vincent College as the defensive coordinator where he also was the linebacker coach and helped with the special teams.
While in West Virginia Coach Veidt were part of the 2004 and 2005 big east championship teams, 2004 gator bowl appearance, and a 2006 sugar bowl win. He knows how to win and that is what he will be bringing to the Bluffton football program along with his strong recruiting and fundamentally sound football in all phases of the game.

Tyson Veidt received his bachelor’s degree in pre-physical therapy from Muskingum College and a master’s degree in athletic coaching from West Virginia. He and his wife Mandy live in Bluffton.
